Egypt Egypt
The Ministry of Education in Egypt sends hundreds of students to the U.S. to study each year. Students are offered a "National Plan" that would pay tuition and fees for all 4 years of undergraduate study. However, these students are nominated and the Ministry places the student in the particular school that they feel will best accommodate their academic record.For more information please contact:

Equatorial Guinea Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea is currently looking for aid to promote education. As of now they urge students to look for scholarships within the school to which they are applying.

Fiji Fiji
Most students from Fiji study at Universities and Colleges in Australia and therefore receive scholarships from the Government there. The National Scholarships Office urges students to get in contact with the Embassy of Australia and their Ministry of Education. Tel: (202) 337-8320


Gambia Gambia Unfortunately, the Embassy of Gambia only has information regarding scholarships for graduate students. This information is available upon request.

Hungary

Iceland Iceland
The Government of Iceland has a unique system for students who want to study in the U.S. The student loan fund is available to all Iceland natives. This loan starts to be paid back 3 years after graduation. The American-Scandinavian Foundation makes this loan possible.Further information contact: Sven Biornson (202) 265-6653


India India
The Embassy of India has no scholarship or funding information available. Students are urged to find financial aids themselves.


Indonesia Indonesia
Indonesia only offers the Fulbright Scholarship. They have no funding or scholarship information for undergraduate students.


Iran
The various ministries in Iran sponsor undergraduate students to come and study in the U.S. For example, the Ministry of Medicine and Health Education send undergraduate as well graduate students to the U.S. to study. These students must be exceptional and have to pass through a rigorous interview and application process. However, the Iranian government does not promote many students studying abroad due to the expansion of Iran University.

Ireland only offers the Fulbright Scholarship.
